The Tax Collector, Frederic Bastiat

"The Tax Collector" is one of several skits contained in Frederic Bastiat's "Sophisms of the Protectionists". Bastiat uses story to teach certain principles - in this case the topic of taxes and what they should and should not be used for. Written in the mid 1800's, it is amazingly timely today. This one is particularly entertaining and a personal favorite. We are excited to now be able to share it with you in skit form. Please enjoy and share with your friends.
